grace haley is an Appalachian artist deeply moved by mountains, creeks, and southern steeples. through fiber arts and painting, she creates landscapes that represent her experience living and loving in the South as a queer woman. grace is inspired by roadside folk art and Bible Belt iconography. deeply rooted in community organizing and the history of resilience and change in Eastern Tennessee, grace gives representation to a vibrant and progressive subculture often overlooked by outsiders to the region.

Grace Haley (b. 2002) is an artist, arts administrator, and community organizer. She earned a BS in Filmmaking in 2024 from MTSU and completed the ArtsBuild Holmberg Arts Leadership program in 2026. She currently resides in Chattanooga, TN and is the studio manager of Townsend Atelier. She runs a youth mental health empowerment program, connecting youth, local artists, and non-profit organizations in her city. She spends her free time talking to bugs and steeplechasing.
